Hi, um usually for my skirts after I gather I don't rip the basting off, is that okay? Thanks ^_^ I love your tutorials

There's no rule saying you have to take the basting off. As long as you're having fun sewing!

You're welcome! If you look at my most recent journal entry (labeled "cosproject: Lilith" there is more ruffle tutorial there with actual pictures instead of drawings. Good luck! Lenne has such a beautiful costume.

Oh yes, I did notice that journal entry, I will definitely go back and take another look, and that Lilith project is just so cool! That's such an awesome idea for a cosplay. And thank you, I just need to buy the right fabric and get started on it, thank you for all the advice and tips you upload here :3

You're too kind. A lot of this is stuff I wished I knew when I started cosplaying. I learned a lot (and am still learning) by looking at how other cosplayers made their costumes and from their tutorials and work-in-progress shots, so I figured I should put up mine to be fair. :)
